Parry was born in 1813.  Parry's father was James Wyche and his mother was Pamela Evans.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Wyche and Elizabeth Jenkins. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named John, Peter, Ira, George, Robert, Cyril, Bevil, Benjamin, Charles, Martha, Elizabeth and Louisa.  He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1888.
