William Alston Rives 
William was born in 1803. William's father was Edwards Rives and his mother was Mary Ann Alston. His paternal grandparents were Thomas H Rives and Mary Edwards; his maternal grandparents were William Alston and Sarah Yearger. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on February 18th, 1883.
