Mildred Rives Phillips 
Mildred was born on August 31st, 1900. Mildred's father was Dr Matthew Dalton Phillips and her mother was Margaret Melissa Dalton. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Phillips and Anne Radford Scott; her maternal grandparents were David Nicholas Dalton and Margaret Melissa Rives. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Albert, Matthew, Ernest, Katherine, Melissa, Margaret, Georgia, Julia and Ruth. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 81 on December 23rd, 1981. She was buried in Phillips Family Cemetery, Pinnacle, North Carolina.-
