George Washington Deems

George was born on June 25th, 1846.  George's father was Mark Fleming Deems and his mother was Margaret Baker.  His paternal grandparents were George Deems and Elizabeth Fisher. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joshua, William, Samuel, Oliver, Mariah and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 60 on February 20th, 1907.
