George C Deems Jr

George was born on March 25th, 1819.  George's father was George Deems and his mother was Elizabeth Fisher.  His paternal grandparents were Marcus S Deems Sr and Elizabeth Flemming. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Mark, Jacob, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Catherine.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 78 on February 22nd, 1898.
