Malana Bird Deem

Malana was born on April 30th, 1863. Malana's father was Cpt. David Deem and her mother was Lurainey Bailey. Her paternal grandparents were Juniper Deem and Eliza Louisa Thornton. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Theodore, Monroe, Dorcas, Elizabeth, Olivia and Lucinda. She was the youngest of the seven children.
