John Deem 
John was born in 1849. John's father was Jacob Deem III and his mother was Catherine Fought. His paternal grandparents were Peter Deem and Nancy Rollins; his maternal grandparents were James Fought and Elizabeth Pribble. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, Peter, Mary, Abigail, Nancy, Martha and Emma. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 4 in 1853.
