James Lemuel Deem

James was born in 1844. James' father was Jacob Deem III and his mother was Catherine Fought. His paternal grandparents were Peter Deem and Nancy Rollins; his maternal grandparents were James Fought and Elizabeth Pribble. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Peter, Mary, Abigail, Nancy, Martha and Emma. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 93 in 1937.
