Samuel A Dalton

Samuel was born on May 14th, 1794.  Samuel's father was Nicholas Dalton and his mother was Rachel Hunter.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Jr and Charlotte Gallahue. He had six brothers and six sisters, named James, Ewel, Leander, Robert, John, Nicholas, Mary, Charlotte, Nancy, Elizabeth, Susan and Pleasant.  He was the oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 80 on June 16th, 1874.
