Charles Franklin Dalton

Charles was born on October 29th, 1870.  Charles' father was David Nicholas Dalton and his mother was Rebecca Jane Westmoreland.  His paternal grandparents were Absolom Bostic Dalton and Nancy Poindexter; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Westmoreland and Frances Marshall. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Marshall, John, Oscar, Alfred, Georgia, Cora and Bertha.  He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, John, Robert, Rufus, David, Walter, Frances, Nancy and Margaret.  He died at the age of 36 on March 21st, 1907.
