Seeta's father is Suryanarayana Dasari and her mother is Padmavati Bobburi.  Her paternal grandparents were Gopalakrishna Dasari and Ramanujamma Dasari; her maternal grandfather was Pattabhiram Ramayya Bobburi and her maternal grandmother is 1st Wife Pattabhiramayya. She has six sisters named Seetaramu, Jaya, Hema, Sampoorna, Savitri and Ratnamaala.
