Štěpán Drobil was born on December 26th, 1749 in Žádovice and his baptism.  His godfather was Joannes Pechovsky and his godmother was Catharina Pechovská? z Hýsel. Štěpán Drobil's father was Josef Drobil and his mother was Polyxena / Apolena Chrástecká.  His paternal grandparents were Tomáš Drobil and Anna NN.; his maternal grandfather was František Chrástecký. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jan Drobil, František Drobil, Josef Drobil, Pavel Drobil, Kateřina Drobilová, Barbora Drobilová, Marina Drobilová, Kateřina Drobilová and Rozina Drobilová.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
