Maria Cândida was born on May 29th, 1897 in Itararé - São Paulo.  Maria Cândida's father was José de  Souza Camargo and her mother is Antonia Maria de  Mello.  Her paternal grandparents are Manoel Joaquim de  Camargo and Emilia Marques de  Souza; her maternal grandparents are Gaudêncio Christovão  Machado and Maria de Jesus  Carneiro e Mello. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Manoel Joaquim de , João Ambrósio de , Geronymo , Estephania , Emília , Augusta, Tabúia, Sinhazinha and Inês.  She died  due to Obstrução intestinal pós-operatório at the age of 65 on July 25th, 1962 in Itararé - São Paulo.  The funeral took place in residência.  She was buried in Cemitério de Itararé - SP.1
