Pieter was born on January 15th, 1892. Pieter's father was Jacobus Adrijan Rozier van Blerck and his mother was Rachel Johanna Zeeman. His paternal grandparents were Siemon (Paatjie) Petrus van Blerck and Jacomina Hendrina Louw. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Simon, Jacobus, Johannes, Jan , Gabriel, Rachel , Jacomina, Johanna, Hester, Christina and Maria. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 77 on March 21st, 1969.
