Annie Muriel Lavinia was born in January 1910.  Annie Muriel Lavinia's father is George Morson Ward and her mother is Alice Lee.  Her paternal grandparents are John Ward and Elizabeth Armstrong; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lee and Alice "Ally" Todd.  She has two brothers and a sister, named Edwin John Cyril, George Daniel Robert and Irene Edna.  She is the third oldest of the four children.
