John "Jack" was born on June 23rd, 1883 in Condamine Street, Dalby, Queensland.  John "Jack"'s father was James McNamara and his mother was Mary Ann Fuller.  His paternal grandparents are John McNamara and Mary Ann Barry; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Fuller and Bridget Beeching.  He had six brothers and five sisters, named Francis John, James Joseph, Frank, William, Edward Patrick, Charles Paris, Sabina, Mary Anne¹, Sarah, Mary Anne² and Minnie May.  He was the seventh oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 63 on September 13th, 1946 in District Hospital, Dalby, Queensland.  His burial was on September 14th, 1946 in Jandowae Cemetery, Queensland.
