Jane was born on June 10th, 1902 in "Acton", Wooroolin Nanango.  Jane's father was Richard Horrobin and her mother was Alice Averill.  She had five brothers and five sisters, named John William, Joseph, Richard, Charles, Thomas Arthur, Mary Lizzie, Alice Selina, Louisa, Emily and Jimima.  She was the nineth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 69 on May 15th, 1972.  Her burial was on May 16th, 1972 in Memerambi Cemetery.
