Berty George Fontaine

Berty George was born on April 10th, 1900 in Capella, Queensland. Berty George's father was August James Fontaine and his mother was Sabina McNamara. His paternal grandparents are Gille Fontaine and Lavinia Ann Morris Rider; his maternal grandparents were James McNamara and Mary Ann Fuller. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William James, Ernest Alfred, David Oliver, Philip Charles, Boxer Robertson, Lawrence Edward, Joseph Henry, Roberson Francis, Minnie Mable, Bertha Maude, Jessie Maria, Queen Ethel and Ivy Kuridala Rose. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 66 on April 8th, 1967 in Mount Isa, Queensland.
