Neil was born on February 16th, 1841 in Killmodan, Argyllshire Scotland.  Neil's father is Andrew Fletcher and his mother is Margaret Henderson.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 67 on November 12th, 1908 in "Strathgyle" Maida Hill, Bell Queensland.  His burial was on November 13th, 1908 in Dalby Cemetery, Queensland.
