Gustav was born on July 11th, 1886. Gustav's father was Carl Victor Reuter and his mother was Sophia Pincott (Reuter). His paternal grandparents were Franz Anton Reuter and Louise Andreae (Reuter); his maternal grandparents were Stephen Pincott and Caroline Simmonds Pincott. He had four brothers named Franz, Georg, Fritz and Otto. He had four half-brothers named Charlie, Arthur, Harry and Willy. He died at the age of 85 on April 11th, 1972.
