General Notes
According to Chris Pilger, Sophie's mother Caroline was Indo-Briton. Her maiden name was Simmonds. Caroline's mother was Elizabeth Paye. This woman was half East Indian.
Caroline and Stephen were married in a religious ceremony. They had two sons and four daughters, named Stephen, William, Sarah, Sophia, Mary Ann and Camelia.

Sophia was born on January 22nd, 1851 in Madras, India. She died at the age of 63 on January 5th, 1915 in Koblenz, Germany.
Camelia Ruth Pincott
Camelia was born in 1863 in in Skogar Undir Eyjafjollum Rangarvallasysla, Iceland.
