- Could this unnamed woman be Margarethe Reuter? The assumption is based on her appearance in several photos with Gustav and Fritz, who would be her nephews. Also her resemblance to another sister of Carl Victor, Hildegard, points to a possible relationship.

Margarethe was born on July 22nd, 1853. Margarethe's father was Franz Anton Reuter and her mother was Louise Andreae (Reuter). Her paternal grandparents were Johann Peter Reuter and Margareta Ursula JosFlatten (Reuter); her maternal grandparents were male Andreae and female Andreae. She had three brothers and a sister, named Franz, Carl, Hubert and Elisabeth.
