Sophia was born on January 22nd, 1851 in Madras, India. Sophia's father was Stephen Pincott and her mother was Caroline Simmonds Pincott. Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Pincott and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were William Simmonds and Elizabeth Paye (Simmonds). She had two brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, George, Sarah and Camelia. She died at the age of 63 on January 5th, 1915 in Koblenz, Germany.

General Notes
- A strong Matriarch, Sophie was married to William Adrian Johann Noordhoek-Hegt. She had four sons, William, Arthur, Harry and Charley (perhaps she also had a daughter who is pictured only once with Willem and Arthur but never appeared again in family photos). Her first husband died, and she married Carl Victor Reuter and had five more sons, Franz, Georg, Gustav, Fritz and Otto.

- This is a beautifully preserved and framed family portrait. Back row from left, Gustav, Georg, Carl Victor the father, Charlie, Franz Anton, Fritz. Front from left, Sophie, the mother, Otto and Anna. Later pictures confirm that Charlie and Anna were married, but no last name has been found.

Sophia and Carl were married in a religious ceremony on May 19th, 1881. They had five sons named Franz, Georg, Gustav, Fritz and Otto.

Sophia and William were married. They had four sons named Charlie, Arthur, Harry and Willy.

- Sophie Pincott and William Adrian Johan Noordhoek-Hegt were married and had four sons, Willem, Arthur, Harry, and Charley. A girl named Sophia is pictured with Willem and Arthur as children, but it is not clear whether this girl was a sister who passed away. In any case, this girl is not pictured anywhere else. After William Adrian passed away, Sophie married Carl Victor Reuter and gave birth to five more sons, Franz, Georg, Gustav, Fritz and Otto.
