Rachel was born on September 15th, 1962.  Rachel's father is Mark Henry Steinberg and her mother is Florence (Steinberg).  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Steinberg and Faniie Mark Zimmerman (Steinberg). She has three brothers and three sisters, named Joe, Irving, Benjamin, Miriam, Debra and Sarah.  She is the third youngest of the seven children.
