Сарра was born on November 19th, 1923 in Минск.  Сарра's father was Юдель Абелевич Кремер and his mother was Гита Моисеевна Шульман (Дайтс).  His paternal grandparents were Абель Кремер and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Моисей Шульман and Сара-Роха. He had a brother and two sisters, named Заве, Роза and Рая.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 85 on March 12th, 2009 in Минск.  The funeral took place on March 14th, 2009 in Минск.
