Manoel Silveira da was born on April 27th, 1730 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL and his baptism took place in 1730 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina. He died at the age of 79 on September 24th, 1809 in Castelo Branco, Horta, ilha do Faial, Açores - PORTUGAL. He was buried on September 25th, 1809 in Igreja Paroquial de Santa Catarina.General Notes
OBS: O padre não diz se o Manuel recebeu ou não os sacramentos. Levou o hábito de picote da Confraria das Almas e foi acompanhado pela Irmandade da citada Confraria, com o Colégio e Cruzes. Não deixou testamento, por ser pobre, razão pela qual lhe foram arbitradas por sua alma 15 missas. NOTA: No reg.da filha Ana, surge pela primeira vez o sobrenome "da Silva". No reg.do filho José, 2º.de nome, surge a única vez o sobrenome "Souto"! E nos reg. dos netos José e Maria, fºs. da Inácia e no seu óbito, surge a alcunha "Bibi".
