Grietje Henriette, known as Iet, was born in 1911.  Iet's father was Nehmias Isaac Jacobson and her mother was Henriette Mendels.  Her paternal grandparents were Salomon Jacobson and Fenny Mosbach. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Fred, Jo, Fannie and Ella.  She was the fourth oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 72 in 1983.
