Ferdinand Nehemias, known as Fred, was born in 1901.  Fred's father was Nehmias Isaac Jacobson and his mother was Henriette Mendels.  His paternal grandparents were Salomon Jacobson and Fenny Mosbach. He had a brother and three sisters, named Jo, Fannie, Iet and Ella.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 84 in 1985.

Fred and Billy were married.  They had a daughter named Yvonne.
