Jacob Back

Jacob was born on April 28th, 1871 in Loffelscheid, Colônia Santa Isabel, Águas Mornas, Santa Catarina, Brasil. Jacob's father was Matias Back and his mother was Maria Katharina (ou Gaetana?) Steffens. His paternal grandparents were Jakob Back and Maria Anna Trösch; his maternal grandparents were Johann Steffens and Elisabetha Büttinger. He had three brothers and three sisters, named João, José, Mathias, Helena, Maria and Isabel. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 30 on April 10th, 1902.
