Bonaventura was born on January 19th, 1917 in Praha II. č.p. 1651 and his baptism took place on February 2nd, 1917.1  Bonaventura's father was Bonaventura Kirchner and his mother was Anežka Jeřábková.  His paternal grandparents were Antonín Kirchner and Anna Moschnerová; his maternal grandparents were František Jeřábek and Antonie Bradáčová. He had a brother and a sister, named Břetislav and Žofie.  He died at the age of 82 on February 23rd, 1999 in Zlín.2
