Anna was born on March 31st, 1832 in Répcekőhalom.1   Anna's father was Nestlang János and her mother was Tieber Terézia. She had four brothers and five sisters, named János, Antal, Alajos, Antal, Terézia, Barbara, Mária, Julianna and Katalin.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
