János was born on February 9th, 1759 in Alsópéterfa and his baptism took place on February 9th, 1759 in Haracsony.1   His godfather was Hueber Joannes Georgius and his godmother was Theresia.  János' father was Hutter György János and his mother was Arthner Mária.  His paternal grandparents were Hutter Mátyás and Éva; his maternal grandparents were Arthner Mihály and Mária. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ferenc, Pál, István, Rosalia and Jusztina.  He was the third oldest of the six children.
