József was born on February 3rd, 1829 in Maniga.1   József's father was Matovics János and his mother is Bartos Erzsébet. He had two brothers named Imre and János.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died  due to froenes at just 7 days old on February 10th, 1829 in Maniga.1
