Károly was born on April 21st, 1864 in Esztergom, Viziváros (Szt.Tamás) and his baptism took place there on April 24th, 1864.1   Károly's father was Bukovszky Vencel and his mother was Willinger Mária.  His paternal grandparents were Bukovszky Kaspar and Firkusny Terézia; his maternal grandparents were Willinger Károly and Hartl Anna. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Vencel, János, Lajos, Pepi, Gyula, Anna, Nenne, Gizella, Terézia, Etelka and Margit.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 1 on August 30th, 1865.2
