Janet Muir

Janet was born about 1751 in Fordel Boghead, Dalgetty, Fife and her baptism took place on April 29th, 1751 in Dalgetty, Fife. Janet's father was Thomas Muir and her mother was Elizabath Mure. Her paternal grandparents were James Muir and Elizabeth (Bessie or Betty) Allan. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, David, James, Robert, James, Christian and Elspet. She was the seventh oldest of the eight children. She died on March 7th, 1753 in Dalgetty, Fife.
