David Muir

David was born about 1774 in Fordel, Middleton, Dalgetty, Fife and his baptism took place on December 6th, 1774 in Dalgetty, Fife. David's father was David Muir and his mother was Christiana Livingston. His paternal grandparents were David Muir and Elspeth Hill; his maternal grandparents were Archibald Livingston and Christian Muir. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Walter, Archibald, David, John, Christian, Jean, Mary, Janet, Christian and Bette. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1775 in Dalgetty, Fife.
