Anna was born in 1665 in Ilton, Somerset, England.  Anna's father was Robert Adams and her mother was Elizabeth Hellier. She had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Joseph, Joane, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the six children.
