1  Jan Nicolaaszn's father was Claes Janszn van der Stegen and his mother was Heijlwich Hermansdr Pijnne.  His maternal grandparents were Hermannus Pynne and N.N. N.N..  He was an only child.  He died on November 20th, 1534 in 's Hertogenbosch.1
