David was born on February 10th, 1924.  David's father was Michael Hurovitz and his mother was Pesie Pnina Hurovitz.  His paternal grandparents were Shimon (Shimi-Shmuel) Shmuel Hurovitz and Rivka Mehucha Rudin.  He had six sisters named Sara, Clara, Esther, Rachel, Chane and Shulamis.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 82 on January 29th, 2007.
