Rachel was born on May 16th, 1914.  Rachel's father was Michael Hurovitz and her mother was Pesie Pnina Hurovitz.  Her paternal grandparents were Shimon (Shimi-Shmuel) Shmuel Hurovitz and Rivka Mehucha Rudin.  She had a brother and five sisters, named David, Shulamis, Chane, Esther, Clara and Sara.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 74 on December 27th, 1988.
