Yitzhak was born in 1900.  Yitzhak's father was Eliyahu Rumstein and his mother was Yehudit Rumstein.  His paternal grandparents were Wolf Yizhak Rumstein and Reizla Zlata Rumstein; his maternal grandparents were Rabbi Shmuel Friedlich and Hendl Hendla Friedlich.  He had four brothers and two sisters, named Yechezkel, Shimon, Vovek, Rafael, Regina and Zofia.  He died at the age of 42 in 1942.
