Yehezkel was born in 1910.  Yehezkel's father was Abraham Bergoffen and his mother was Chana Friedlich.  His paternal grandparents were Uziel Iziel Bergoffen and Leah Ferber; his maternal grandparents were Rabbi Shmuel Friedlich and Hendl Hendla Friedlich.  He had five brothers and two sisters, named Shimon, Yitzhak, Eliyahu, Israel, Shlomo, Rivka and Yehudit.  He was the seventh oldest of the eight children.  He died due to murder / assassination.
