Reb Menahem was born in 1900.  Reb Menahem's father was Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Sankevitch and his mother was Sarah Sankevitch.  His paternal grandfather was Reb Sania Sankevitch and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather was Reb Yechiel Rosenberg and his maternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  He had three brothers and two sisters, named Rabbi Yaacov, Reb Hirsh, Reb Chaim, Hadas and Golda.  He died at the age of 44 in 1944.
