Vishnudas was born on August 26th, 1932.  Vishnudas' father was Vithaldas Ramchand Rathod Tikadiya and his mother was Saritabai Bhagvandas Gohil.  His paternal grandparents were Ramchand Dulabh Rathod Tikadiya and Laxmibai; his maternal grandparents are Bhagvandas Kishor Gohil and Panibai. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Prithviraj, Amratlal, Jaicinh, Pranlal, Balvantrai, Tarulata and Pranlaxmi.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 42 in 1974.
