Ramniclal's father was Kessaugi Gangaram Parmar and his mother was Moti.  His paternal grandparents were Gangaram Ghela Parmar and Nandubai. He had two brothers and a sister, named Champaclal, Vipinchandra and Raman.  He was the oldest of the four children.
