Nagardas' father was Gangaram Ghela Parmar and his mother was Nandubai.  His paternal grandparents are Ghela Parmar and <Unknown>. He had a brother and six sisters, named Kessaugi, Harakhbai, Gangabai, Radiat, Puri, Kasi and Diwali.  He died in Madagascar.
