Pankaj's father is Chandrakant Maganlal Gohil and his mother is Padmavanti Kessaugi Jethva.  His paternal grandparents are Maganlal Raichand Gohil and Godavribai; his maternal grandparents are Kessaugi Hirachand Jethva and Trivenibai. He has three brothers and a sister, named Navnit, Sanatkumar, Piyus and Divendra.
