August 9, 1932 -- April 17, 2004

NORWICH -- Arthur F. Sienkie- wicz, 71, of 42 Huntington Ave., Norwich died Saturday morning at Hospice in Branford Born in Norwich on August 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Frank and Hedwig (Tamulewicz) Sienkiewicz. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was a cook at Norwich Hospital in Preston. Sur- viving are two daughters, Nancy B. Schempf of Middletown, and Jody A. O'Hare of Bremerton, WA; One granddaughter Kasey Schempf; and a longtime com- panion Viola Tessier of Jewett City.
Graveside services will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Boswell Avenue, Norwich, on Sat- urday at 10 a.m. There is no visi- tation.
