Louise's father was James Macomb and her mother was Nancy Gorham.  Her maternal grandparents were Capt Benjamin Gorham and Nancy Ann Hinckley. She had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Frances. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Francis, James and Anita.1
