James Bruce

James was born on February 14th, 1720.  James' father was John (Bruice)  Bruce and his mother was Sarah Parrell.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Bruice and Mary Christian; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Parrell and Ann. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Mary, Ann and Margaret.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 98 in 1818.
